Spring Waste Tire Amnesty Schedule – The Waste Tire Amnesty Program, established in 1998, is part of the Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet’s ongoing effort to rid Kentucky’s landscape of waste tires.

Methamphetamine Cleanup Contractor Certification – As of June 27, 2007, the division's Superfund Branch is required to maintain a list of contractors certified to perform cleanup of methamphetamine contamination. Certification programs – Training is available for landfill operators and managers, landfarm operators and compost facility managers. There are registration deadlines and fees to cover course expenses. More information and registration forms are on the Education page under Regulated Entities.
Scrap copper reporting requirements – New statute KRS 365.250 requires scrap dealers to maintain records and report the purchases of scrap copper to local law enforcement officials to help prevent the theft of scrap wire, cable and pipes containing copper. Click here to review KRS 365.250.
