Welcome to the proposed regulative changes home page of the Division of Waste Management. This page is designed to provide the public information on changes to waste management regulations.

If there are any linked documents on this page they are not yet for use. The regulations have been provided for public comment, as required by Kentucky Revised Statute (KRS) Chapter 13A. The display of documents incorporated by reference is an added service and is not required by KRS Chapter 13A. These documents will not be considered final until the regulations become effective. Therefore, please do not try to use these documents, as they are not the correct forms for current use.

Public hearing and public comment period

A public hearing on the proposed changes of the above referenced regulations shall be held on May 23, 2008, at 10 a.m. (Eastern Time) at Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority, 100 Airport Rd., Frankfort, KY 40601. Individuals interested in being heard at this hearing shall notify this agency in writing by May 16, 2008, five workdays prior to the hearing, of their intent to attend. If no notification of intent to attend the hearing is received by that date, the hearing may be cancelled. This hearing is open to the public. Any person who wishes to be heard will be given an opportunity to comment on the proposed administrative regulation. A transcript of the public hearing will not be made unless a written request for a transcript is made. If you do not wish to be heard at the public hearing, you may submit written comments on the proposed administrative regulation. Written comments shall be accepted until June 2, 2008. Send written notification of intent to be heard at the public hearing or written comments on the proposed administrative regulation to:
