Administrative Support Section

Introduction

The Administrative Support Section issues EPA identification numbers for generators, transporters, recyclers, used oil handlers and universal waste handlers. The section reviews annual reports and assessment returns from hazardous waste generators and facilities. We also conduct data management for the hazardous waste program. In addition, we review financial assurance submittals from hazardous waste treatment, storage or disposal facilities.

The programs that are coordinated by the Administrative Support Section are:

  1. The Notification and Registration Program
  2. Hazardous Waste Annual Report Program
  3. Hazardous Waste Assessment Program
  4. Hazardous Waste Financial Assurance Program
  5. Hazardous Waste Groundwater Monitoring Program
The various programs administered by the section are described below. Answers to frequently asked questions regarding these programs are available online. We also have several brochures that describe these programs. These brochures can be found on the Division of Waste Management's publications page under the subheading of "Hazardous Waste." Forms associated with these programs can be obtained on the Division of Waste Management's forms and program documents page, also under the subheading "Hazardous Waste." The brochures and forms may also be obtained by contacting:
