This report provides a complete list of enforcement activities that were a result of violations detected during compliance inspections. In addition, final penalty information is provided. This report does not show enforcement activities that are considered enforcement sensitive. These activities include judicial referrals, State to EPA referrals, and criminal actions where a final penalty has not been assessed.

Key Elements

·         Enforcement Date: The date the enforcement action was issued. For all formal actions involving written documents, this date is the date the document was signed. For informal actions, this date is the date the handler received actual notification of the action.

·         Enforcement Location: Indicates the location of the agency regulating the activity.

·         Enforcement Type: Identifies the type of action being taken against a handler.

·         Lead Agency: Agency responsible for issuing the enforcement action.

·         Compliance Status: The date the violation that the enforcement action was addressing returned to compliance.

·         Final Penalty: The dollar amount associated with the final penalty.
