Commonwealth Cleanup Week

The next Commonwealth Cleanup Week will be March 22-28, 2009.

The 1998 Kentucky General Assembly (House Joint Resolution 121) designated the fourth week in March as an opportunity for Kentuckians to participate in "activities that highlight the natural beauty of their communities." 

Commonwealth Cleanup Week activities are coordinated by the Energy and Environment Cabinet’s Division of Waste Management. If you have questions, contact the division by calling 502-564-6716 or e-mailing waste.ky.gov.
