Recycling organization will meet in June – The Kentucky Recycling Interest Group will meet June 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Eastern Kentucky University campus in Richmond. To register, go to the Kentucky Pollution Prevention Center site – http://www.kppc.org/ – and look for KRIG under Upcoming Events

Spring Waste Tire Amnesty Schedule – The Waste Tire Amnesty Program, established in 1998, is part of the Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet’s  ongoing effort to rid Kentucky’s landscape of waste tires.

Certification programs for the operators and managers of some waste management facilities – The schedule is on the Education page under Regulated Entities.

Montgomery County Landfill – Jeffersonville, Rumpke of Kentucky Inc. The division has issued a draft permit for horizontal expansion increasing the total permit area to 352.97 acres. A non-adjudicative public hearing was held May 6 in Jeffersonville. Word  PDF

Hardin County Landfill -- Notice of Intent application from Hardin County Fiscal Court to apply for an 252-acre expansion of the Hardin County Landfill.  Word  PDF

Public Notices - Hazardous Waste Sites
